Greenwich International Film Festival and Press Releases

Last weekend, June 2-3, One Vote screened at two film Festivals in Connecticut. This gave a me a chance to try my hand at writing a press release. I did one to promote the event and another to cover the event after it had happen. We were lucky enough to have Connecticut Congressman Jim Himes attend are screening so I wrote a press release about that. For one of my classes at Full Sail University, we learned how to write and submit a press releases. Had it not been for that class, I probably wouldn't have know that existed, let alone known how to write them, so I'm super thankful for that. 

For promoting the event, we had an article in Norwalk's The Hour and the Stamford Advocate.  

After the film festival, I submitted this one, which was covered in the Greenwich Post.
