Assignment Overview

• Using the information from this class, outside research, and skills acquired in previous classes you will create a 1 to 3 minute video that is the premiere episode for a hypothetical online critique series.
• The concept is to create a video critique that positively spotlights a visual story that you feel passionately about.  Something from a personal and professional perspective that could be potentially appreciated by your peers as well as an audience that might have overlooked it.
• The objective is to demonstrate both your understanding of the concepts of the class and your talents as a content creator as you move into the next Portfolios.
• The critique can be of a Feature Film, Short Film, Episodic Television Series (Scripted or “Non-Scripted”) Webshort or Episodic Web Series of your choice. (Here forward referred to as “the story” or “the item”.)

Recently, I've been working as a Production Assistant/Social Media Coordinator for a documentary film titled "One Vote," which, among other people, stars Warren Buffet. I was asked to make a montage of the footage from it's premiere at the Omaha Film Festival (which I was lucky enough to attend).
